Discuss DP ISOLATION SWITCH. in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

pound notes are still green in Scotland.... and are still legal tender.....

as are groats, guineas and bags of corn.....

'Legal tender' is a world of boredom, but notes issued by Scottish and Northern Irish banks are not legal tender and issuing banks must maintain assets at least equal to value to notes in circulation as a form of guarantee.

Oddly enough I recall that Bank of England notes are only considered to be legal tender in England and Wales.

I could google more information, but can already feel myself nodding off :D

Additional trivia... the first polyer banknote issued in the UK was the the George Best commerative £5, issued by Northern Bank.

They can turn off smart meters if you don't pay the bill why not make the function accessable?

While ukpn were out I asked for him to pull the fuse so I could stick in an isolator, they refused and sat in the van for over half an hour instead. Helpful bunch.

Loadout.shop sell covers to go over the exposed parts while the fuses are removed. A spare carrier with a blown fuse would be handy.
