Dan oh!

Do Energy saving light bulbs retain a charge? Reason I ask is, when light switch is turned off the bulb will flash slightly every 30 seconds or so. I've checked wiring and all is in order, changed bulb for a non energy saving, problem disappeared:confused:

if it's fluorescent tube type, give it some dynamic energy. drop it from 20ft. into the nearest bin. replace with halogen.

Its basically a small resistor in series with a small capacitor which eliminates the induced voltage by giving an alternative path than the lamp.
