Expat back to the UK after 18 years

Hi Guys.
Just hoping someone can give me some advice on what to expect after coming back to the UK (now in Cornwall) was in Australia for 18 years.
I`m fully qualified but understand I now have to take the 18th edition regs , construction card etc . I have a JIB registration card but its obviously way out of date . Any helpful tips would be appreciated.

you need to now apply for UE citizens ship to apply for work hear .

Both .Did my apprenticeship in UK and worked here for years . Even did the 16 th ( did 15th as apprentice ). Did more exams in Aus including contractors and supervisor course.

Send the JIB an email or give them a ring. See what they say.

UE/EU bollox. we're are the UKas of March 29th. sod junkers. let him go back to building the JU87s and Ju88s.

Australian A grade is a JIB recognised qualification. Just sit the ECS exam and use your A grade or even your previous qualification. I've spoken to the JIB because a UK license is not recognised in any state on Australia, it gives an unfair advantage to Australians coming to work here in the UK. You have to jump through so many hoops in Australia . I sat a disconnect reconnect test tsest. A full written and a full practical. You still won't get a job on a site if your not union. It's so unfair and there standard doesn't even come close to UK. I actually saw twin and earth strung on catenearys in the ceiling void of a brand new hospital wing in Melbourne. It's shocking
