So I've been to see a broken fan requirement...... in a park home.

No isolator, no access to cabling, no loft...

So how the hell can you install to manufacturers requirements???

Discuss....

Thanks

a park home? you talking about a caravan park?

If so, ive got the same current problem at the moment. Replacing a fan, yet your supposed to wire to manufactures instructions and its literally not possible. Been stalling the job for a week now.

Install it cash in hand with no MWC so theres no trace you've ever been there if anything goes wrong? :38: jokes...

What im thinking of doing, is patching the old fan up and taking 3core from the light too a newly installed isolator then wire a fan next to the isolator. Then getting someone to patch the hole up where the old fan was, and dragging the cables out...if possible.

They are the "modular" type homes on wheels, bolted together so wider than caravans. The supply is 2 core so no timer/overrun - a right pain.

I might just call Elecsa and see what they say!

The static lodges that are bolted together on the pitch (come in 2seperate halves) ??

Some of them models ive worked on do have a loft space...that stewart little would have difficulty getting into. I feel your pain Murdoch.

Fan's are always a pain in statics. Can you not do what im gonna attempt, move the fan to a new posistion and try fish the wires accross the ceiling? They are hollow enough, just can take ages tryna grab them when you can't see F all.

mount the fan in the floor, with a foot switch. :ciappa:

lol tel, if only. Suppose, we could always remove a segment of the roof and go open-plan.

Trunking to where?

I've no idea where the cables go and its a shower room!

I've no idea mate, I've never worked for pik..... err I mean trave...... no, I mean caravan dwellers. I was making light of your dilemma.
