hi, i am fitting a smoke alarm system ei160rc range in a 2 storey hmo with a locater switch in the main entrance. i have installed heat detectors in all rooms with kitchenets. this HMO also includes a self contained flat and i have wired a smoke detector in the living room but should i also wire one in the kitchen? as this is a very hard cable run!!

also is it 75 decabels at bedhead or is 55-65 decabels acceptable?

thanks..

Minimum 75 decibels at a bed head mate and IMO you should have a heat detector in the kitchen.
