heights for stats

Hi guys. Just wondering what height you prefer installing thermostats in a domestic house? Some say 1500mm others say 1800mm. The stats in question are to serve underfloor heating. Cheers in advance.

Read the instruction leaflet that comes with it as manufacturer will specifiy the correct height.

manufacturers installation instructions are to be followed. the product will be BS (british standard) approved. job done.

Most manufacters recommend 1400-1500mm, it should also be noted that although disabled building regs specify all electrical switches be no higher then 1200mm on new builds, it does make an exception for specific items such as stats.
