Hello
I am confused as to the quickest route one can take to become a domestic installer but really with the intention of only doing Test and inspection including periodics.
So far I did C&G 2330 part 1 (boring)
2380 (16th edition)
I am a graduate Electrical & Electronic engineer, which while it helps is not really involved in the electrican route.
I spoke to NICEIC, they said, I now can do 2 jobs, 1 major 1 minor get them to come out and check it and then if OK, they will approve me, they did mention I need to do the 17th edition course as well. They said, if I wanted to do periodics, then I need to do 2391.
Now I have friend who reckons I need to do C&G 2330 part2, 3 and NVQ level 3, but NICEIC said if only domestic then I do not need all that, and so did my C&G tutior, so what do you guys think?
