Yes mate.

Anyhow yes, going to split rings tomorrow see what I can find. The house is owned by a hoarder and the things I've had to move today just to access sockets is ridiculous. Wish I'd never have taken it on now. But will find it and keep you all updated. Definitely learned a lesson on this one!
 
But would you have tested all the neutrals with each other for continuity to see if there was a borrowed neutral UK?

As it happens, I do. It was ever since discovering a borrowed neutral on a stair light on a board I fitted a shower to.

I try to eliminate every possible problem before I change a board.
 
The be all and end all.....its cost the guy some good Spondoonies for his own cock up....the more time to find the fault, the more readies...he`ll think twice next time..!
 
maybe the back box wanted touching, but then went to an industrial tribunal claiming sexual harassment
