Heres one for you lads and lasses, we have on our inspection been pulled and a non compliance tick for, wait for it.

A board schedule with test results adj to board but only blue tacked to inside of the door, when it should be minimum drawing pinned, when challenged about it the inspector said it could be removed, but it could be removed by pulling the drawing pins out YES or NO.
Anyway its a non compliance act, i couldn,t beleive it.

Im afraid it is, although im not sure about the permanent fixing.

Have a read of 514.1.1

having said that, on my last assessment, it wasnt even picked up that there was not circuit schedule near the CU.

We got told this years ago and the NI man said glue a clear plastic a4 sleeve in the fuseboard door so you can pop the sheet inside then he would be happy, we said it dosnt stop anyone taking the sheet out though and losing it to which he replied but this way il be happy and tick the box.
They seems to contradict themselves quite a few times and as ive mentioned in the past if they dont find anything they cant justify doing their job thats when they get a little petty.
