Just been looking at a job. A member of the public is advertising for an electrician to second fix an installation that has been first fixed by somebody who is not part p registered. Unsupervised. What is the exact rule on this as I'm sure a channel four programme said anybody can first fix if they get a QS to second fix and sign off. I'm sure schemes say 3rd party work cannot be signed off

3 signature certificate required, you can only sign for testing, and check with the labc or client about the design and installation signatures.
