Hi guys.

need a little help as this has always baffled me and could never make my mind.

so if you are pricing up a job and you charge per point, does a 4 gang light switch get classes as 4 points or 2?
The reason i ask is surly a 4 gang switch is more expensive and if it was a 2 way switching on all 4 then you would have to supply and fit 3 core cable and that would cost more?.

many thanks

Francois

4 switches 4 lots of cable... 4 points. however all at same place so you could be a bit lenient and price as 3 points.

Good answer Tel....and by using Tels sensible pricing structure you could do a 4-for-3 offer a la supermarket stylee!
