Hi
Many a time I've seen our electrician use blue and yellow for the tamper circuit. He twists all the blue wires from each PIR sensor together then twists the yellow wire for each sensor together.
My question is how is the accenta G4 mini able to detect an open circuit when say only one of the sensors have been tampered with? Not knowing any better I've done the same but now that I thought about it, I'm thinking it's not correct way of doing it

AFAIK, the correct way is to wire the blue from one PIR and the yellow from the next and so on. However this doesn't solve your problem. Unless it has individual tamper connections for each zone I'm not sure how it can detect it.

Generally the tamper is "global" on an alarm system so that all zones are on the tamper unless you use the resistors for every circuit (see installer manual for each system)
The bell, panel and key pad will have their own tamper and will indicate this on the key pad

Please note different alarm engineers use different coloured cores for alarm and tamper and i have even seen them uses not red and black for power :(

brman is correct that they must be in series so if a pir cover is removed a tamper fault will show
(But it will not show where in the zones the tamper it will be)

I thought so. Lol better rush over to my sisters and correct that then lol. She did pay me good money for that system. I feel I ripped her off.
