4kw 24 hour system - £11995 Fitted +VAT. System provides 4kw of power every hour, night and day. 96kw every 24hr period. That's 365 days at 96kwh per day = 35040kwh produced per annum, rain or shine, day or night. At current FIT rate of 16ppkwh, 35040kwh = £5606.40p return per year! Payback time under 3 years! Total over 20 years = £112,128.00p

I've got to have one of these!! 4kw of power every hour, night and day.

only way I can see they can be doing that is by having a battery on constant charge on one circuit, then constant discharge to an inverter, so they'd be claiming the FIT for recycling mains electricity, which is straight out fraud.

I've just reported them to MCS, even though they aren't MCS members they need to use an MCS company for the installation.

I don't imagine that they install anything, I'm guessing they would just take a deposit from anyone daft enough and then disappear. If you want to commit FIT fraud I'm sure there are easier ways.

I've filled in the form on their website, they've promised to have an engineer call me tomorrow to explain more and arrange a visit (good with me - our panels can't be seen from the road when he calls!) I knew I had voice notes on my phone for a reason!
