Discuss safety cluth drill for core cutting in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

I have still got my ELU Diamante 110 v 1300 watts with rcd on the cable, i have cored 100's of holes with this mainly 117 & 127 it is still going strong even lending it out several times, had a new cable that's all. Dewalt took over ELU but i think they still make it albeit yellow in colour. It was a good investment along with the MIT88 wall chaser & extractor to go with it. Boy does that take away the chor of chasing out. A good dedicated core drill would cost between 3-4 hundred quid from new if you are going to use it on a regular basis.

want your arse wiped too?

Def would need a risk ASSesment.

49.99 is the big sds for drilling and chisel attachments.
I used it last summer for breaking concrete and coring it to break it, wet cores, 2 inch to 4 inch. They have a clutch too.
Lets face it, 50 quid is throw away money, what would it cost to hire one?

Boydy
