Hi Guys

looking for a couple of quotes from local instalers please

am in holbeach lincs,PE127NG
looking for a 4kw ( black on black ) system , decent inverter ,would like a 10 yr warranty as a minimum
have a large south east facing roof about 25 degrees angle, no shading issues on roof, roof is 9mtrs x 4.5mtrs

had a quote from national company of £10k for 16 x 250 romag panels & sma inverter ....:rolleyes2:

happy to take advice on panels or inverter brands,

sure there are 1 or 2 members cover your area. check the thread tomorrow or weekend for a favourable response.
 
Out of our area but for what it's worth a 10 year warranty is only any use if the firm is round to service it, we see a lot of this now where we are. If you're tempted by a cheap as chips quote - just stop for a little while and wonder how it can be so cheap and whether saving a few hundred quid will be worth it for a system that will stay on your roof for 40 years.

10k of course is also a ridiculous price and I'm sure the guys on this forum in your area will provide you with a quality system at a sensible price.

Little too far away from Leeds for us to quote but yes 10 k is a rip off price. For 4 kW you should be looking at 6-7.5 kW depending how complex or what roof covering it is
