solarmax inverters?

have any of you used the solarmax inverter? looking at the 3000s but had no dealings with them as of yet. looks good on pvsol and the website shows lots of extras as with sma etc.

Anyone had one of these?

I have installed about 15 solarmax4200s, i am not sure about the 3000 but it doesnt seem to be any better, or offer anything else over sma/fronius or powerone

its cheaper? it shows a higher yield through pvsol, but never seen them. So they are as good as sma? i believe they have built in wireless too? so you can view output on iphone app etc?

If the price is better, go for the SolarMax 3000S. They have a UK office if you ever need them and we have supplied these on request to installers with no complaints. Nice little unit.

Yes it was spitfire that quoted me for them.
I was going to use eversolar as they perform well but will try the solarmax this time. Its for 2 properties (next door neighbours) so hopefully they will perform both the same so i don't get any calls complaining next door has a few more KWh's!

Will do. They look great on their website offering all wireless monitoring and even the APP! which is a seller for me, as with eversolar they really are no frills!
