Ha, only just saw this! Thanks Archy, pity the guy put too many zeroes on the starting price. He relisted it a few times but seems to have given up. Might see if it's gone for scrap yet...

I regularly maintain 3 old Wadkin machines, bench saw, planer and bandsaw. 2 still have the old starters with original contacts and internal braided cloth cable wiring, in great condition. Had to replace the remote stop/start on the bandsaw....the bloke who works them asked for the brass lock off stop button to use as a door handle at home.
