I have to install over basin water heaters in 2 bathrooms as there is no domestic hot water, there is rcd protection in the bathrooms so is it ok to fit an un-switched fused spur in zone 2 as long as the manufacturer permits the plate to be used in this area? Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Is the sink area well away from bath / shower??
If you look at the sink drawing, radius 60cm, would you be able to locate fsu in zone 3 area??

Zone 3 doesnt technicaly exist any more, but outside of zone 2.

Why not put a spur outside and a flex outlet plate by the heater?

If its over sink heaters because there in no hot water available what else is in there? if it is just a toilet and wash hand basin its not a special location
