Hi chaps hope some one can help .
Following a gas landlord cert check a friend of mine was told each of his two combi boilers had to have a thermostat fitted, this was agreed and the plumber fixed to wall next to each boiler a battery powered Drayton Digistat +3 programmable Thermostat both to be wired in . There are three connections in the stat
1 - C
2 - ON
3 - OFF
No earth required
Am i right to assume the C stands for Clock or could it be Common ?
The ground floor boiler is a Valliant Turbo Max 828e and there are three connections for the stat at the boiler with no identification on them other than 3 4 5 and the link is between terminals 3 and 4 . So would i be right to think C and ON from the stat would go to the terminals 3 and 4 where the link was ? or would it be just two wires.
The first floor boiler is a Worcester Bosch 24i Junior ( not a greenstar ) the terminals standard Worcester
Lr
Ls
Ns
Link between Lr and Ls
im thinking C to Ns ON to Ls and OFF to Lr ?
This is my first dealings with stats and boilers so i would appreciate any pointers advice or set rules for them .
Thank you
