i have used them and the helacom ones. both are good. i have just found a well cheap supplier for 150w halides today at around twenty quid which is half what i have been paying so happy days.

Yup use wagos all the time now. Great ideas - their shortform catalogue is good for ideas, and specs.

They've a website

Still tend to through crimp smaller CSA stranded cables though.

Hi

I bought the contractors box wich covers the full range, very usefull kit. They are not cheap but save a lot of time and I use a lot of them now. I use the lever ones all the time.

Are they the connectors that you just push the cable into and it clamps onto it? Never tried those ones you can buy but I've had a few light fittings with them in and they were horrendous. If you didn't twist the stands tight enough they just bend and won't go in, half the time they wouldn't grip properly and god forbid you want to take the cable out again.in all fairness they were pretty cheap fittings tho...I'm always wary, every week the wholesaler has a new toy he's trying to push, its hard to tel what will be worth it.anyone spend money on those magnets the woman on dragons den came up with? My wholesaler ended up having to give the things away free.

Yep use them they are so great for the loops in light fittings etc , where do you get the ones for 6mm cant find them any where , be great if the brought one out 3 of each L N E in the same block

Wish we had Wago's here in Spain tried to order them from CEF but no joy will have to wait until my next UK visit...........Shame

I've been using these for the last 5 years , at that time nobody bought them and eddy's in wimbledon dumped their stock in the bin on stock take because nobody bought them!-- time is money and quality will always prevail!
