If I had my way they'd be banned from all single carriageway roads except between 01:00 and 05:00.to give them the knowledge required not to clog up single carriageway, 60mph limit, roads doing 40.

Agree, along with horse boxes. If people like horses so much why don't they ride them across fields rather than putting them in tin boxes and driving on roads really slowly! If I had my way they'd be banned from all single carriageway roads except between 01:00 and 05:00.
costs 'em a fortune to shoe them nags every few weeks. why wear out a set of perfectly good shoes by walking on them. that is left to our good wives/GFs who only break them because they seen some others they want...."Honey, my shoes are worn out and I've had the ages ( 2 weeks) please can you give me £200 for some new ones".Agree, along with horse boxes. You mean when they used to do real vehicle reviews with Tiff Needel and Quentin Wilson.... They actually told you what was a good car at towing, for example.... Before the days of Jeremy, James and the accident prone one seeing what was the best way to make one explode!Top Gear had the right idea with caravans a few years back.

If youre going to villify the noble art of towing caravans for being a little slow, but safe... then lets have a go at cyclists, tractor drivers and the hell spawn that is Audi Driver!
??????
Ah, now theres a thing.... It may be the drivers pleasure, but they are travelling to a caravan site which is someone elses business... so they are important to the economy in some form... (although not as much as a farmer per se)hold up traffic for no reason other than their own pleasure.

What on earth is wrong with Audi drivers?
There are good and bad drivers of all marques.
I suggest that any who are prejudiced against others on the basis of what they drive are very likely to be so blind to their own shortcomings as to put them firmly in the second category.
That's normally a BMW driver ?I do care, however, when some impatient fool overtakes at 90, with something coming the other way.
What is it about trades people and BMW drivers, I can't think they are all jealous, but perhaps they are. That's normally a BMW driver ?
missed by some(Please note my use of emoticons or “smilies”. This is to signify that my remark is not to be taken seriously)
As for "literally", I believe that prejudice and unthinking generalisations are unhelpful.

Plumbers can read??? ?*For any kitchen fitters or plumbers reading this forum, I'd like to distance myself from any derogatory commentary that has been posted about your (or other) trades ?
We have to talk in generalisations... as most of us don't have the time to talk about each individual car/van that we see on the roads everyday !Well - I'm not taking it personally, as I'm not an Audi driver.

Something else they probably pinched off a site somewhere...some even have a sense of humour.
Is this an admission to owning a caravan? ?You mean when they used to do real vehicle reviews with Tiff Needel and Quentin Wilson.... Nothing wrong with owning a caravan, as long as you have the car to tow it and the skills to drive it.
Can't beat the sense of freedom that comes with caravan holidays, moving all over Western Europe at will.
Not so keen on it in the UK, though, since this country's idea of a caravan site seems to be an open field to line them up in, and coin slots to pay extra for everything.
No... #72 was my admission to owning one, although I might have mentioned it on other threads. Is this an admission to owning a caravan? ?
I still prefer a motohome. Just park up, turn the gas on and your done. Could be a pain just to nip to the shop for a pint of milk though. I used to enjoy a drive up to the highlands, stop off in the Lakes on the way, and wild camp.
Yon Kipper is not until September. As someone who spent childhood holidays in a caravan and who used to cycle several hundred miles each week, I'm reasonably well placed to make tongue in cheek comments about either group.
Never having owned an Audi, I should apologise for suggesting that a motoring show might be the best place for their owners.

A debate I've had with myself a few times, but I've always just come out on the side of the caravan.Pros and cons of both. I know two couples that switch between caravans and motor homes quite often because they can't decide which is best.
Well - dodgy electrics are traditional on campsites, I believe...?And earlier this year the new owners burned down the reception/ bar building.
not proven. I could be done for malicious slander saying that.

I’ve been out of there 4 years now, and the building was refurbed as soon as they bought it.Well - dodgy electrics are traditional on campsites, I believe...?
