Hi,

Sorry tried to post this in diy forum but it wouldn't let me for some reason.

I have purchased a 12v ICON ECO 30S fan to replace an old 12v Manrose fan.

The old fan was connected with Twin & Earth to a remote transformer with timer as linked below
Remote Transformer with Timer (this pic doesn't show the timer but it was a timer model)
And this has the T&E outputting to the fan and Live, Neutral, Switched Live and Earth coming in from a pull cord through an unswitched spur (which did have a 13 amp fuse in it).

What I want to do is purchase a timer module for the fan (the one which will delay the fan coming on by 2 mins then run on for up to 45 mins).
Can someone tell me if this is possible and what I need to connect up to where.
The transformer that comes with the new fan has L,N & LS as inputs and 12v, 0v and T as outputs and should be protected by a 3A fuse.
Practically, I can't chance the existing wiring or mount the transformer anywhere else, so I have to go with what I have got.

Alternatively, can I purchase a replacement manrose transformer (as linked above) and use this with the icon fan?

I would prefer the former as I don't really want the fan kicking in everytime someone goes in to use the toilet.

Thanks
