Are these a special socket?

Trying to change out dual GU24 sockets in 4 ceiling fixtures with E26 sockets but can't seem to find sockets that have this threaded stud on the bottom/end.

I think the lampholder would have a female thread and that’s just a short screwed nipple.

Those things look lethal! Exposed live terminals, and if an unearthed metal bush is screwed in too far, an exposed live bush as well.
