Hi. Trying to install new entryphone but can't figure out wiring on old unit. Can someone please advise which wire (blue, green, red, white, yellow) should go in which terminal (I R O T Z) from the attached picture? Cheers. Benjamin

Hi. Trying to replace an old entryphone (photo) and wiring in new phone.

Old phone is wired...

Green terminal 2
Blue in terminal 10
White in terminal 9
Red in terminal 1
Yellow in unnumbered junction
Black is loose/spare

So I'm now trying to match the five colours to the 5 Bell terminals. Advice please?

R is
O is
T is
Z is

Many thanks

Benjamin

Because Amazon said this was a straightforward swap for an old entryphone. But came with no instructions. Not as easy as I'd hoped.

Any more advice please? I'm trying lots of combinations, but cannot get them in the right order. Can anyone possibly advise? This is DIY and my partner is currently very underwhelmed by my lack of capability and suggests I should call out a "proper electrician" to sort it out for me. Please help! [I've tried to find a diagram online, but it seems that the wiring on the old unit was non-standard, and I now can't translate the wires to the new unit.]
