Do yourselves a favour and don't bother with them. We fitted 14 behind a bar in a social club as part of a larger job. Within a month, 3 of them have blown. Not a good record out of such a small handful. We are now returning the lot, and replacing for a different brand to try and save face.

The yellow blob of snot in the second pic is what holds the metal rim onto the body and seems to stop the innards falling out. Awful quality.

There are so many manufactured jumping on the LED wagon and a awful lot are very poorly made.

I fitted a boat load of Aurora and they have been excellent.

What manufacturer did you swap these for?

Haven't yet. The remaining duffers are still in til we get replacements. Thinking of using ledhut's standard SMD lamps. Haven't used ledhut yet but they get praised on the forum now and again so probably worth a try. If not them, then Kosnic, as they have proved reliable to date.

I don't see a 'kite mark' or whatever you call that UK approval stamp.

Is that 'yellow snot' a result of overhaeting or did they have that from new?

Nah they don't. Have a CE mark though. The yellow gunk is evident on all the lamps. Looks like the glue used to bodge them together.

ledhut have smds on offer at the moment.
