Electrician will have access to every switch/socket every cable and will be easily able to carry out tests. The same electrician will also chance my CU.

take any negative posts with a pinch of salt, mate. you seem to be trying to do it right and good luck with it. me an d pete usually get our kicks from visiting the local maternity ward and swopping tags on new borns. but we've been banned from there. new source of merriment required.

Are you going to connect from the ring final circuit to the fcu using your 0.75 cord.

Don't worry mate. His electrician has told him how to do it. They are also checking it, so what could go wrong.
