Been asked to do a bit PAT testing for a Catering trailer. The stuff inside, no problem. But, do I show the trailer (i.e. the db with 3 sockets and a striplight) as an appliance aswell?

Thanks

Sorry to disagree here but the trailer should be seen the same as a caravan yes give it an EICR but forget PAT testing it as it cannot be classed as an appliance remember electrical testing falls into 2 areas Fixed wiring and ISI&TEE or PAT.

It is the applince you are testing not the electrical installation so ask yourself this when you PAT test in say a house you dont and are not required to test the socket it plugs into
