Hi,
I'm not sure if this correct sub-forum so apologies in advance if not.
I'm looking for an electrician to install a manual transfer switch for 6.5kva diesel generator (Warrior LDG6500SVWRC)
for a residential property with a 32A CEE male socket at the external rear of the property.
I'm aware of a few caveats (does the genny need an earth rod, should there be a circuit breaker between the genny and the transfer switch, does the DNO need to be notified etc?) so I don't want to just pick somewhere at random from Checkatrde etc.
Can anyone recommend a company/sole trader (or any available that post here) in the Staffordshire area? (or what I should be looking for if I just pick a couple at random and obtain some quotes).
