When you say "set" what jobs do you have in mind? I bought a set a good while back - the only one I've replaced is the 4 inch/104 mm one!

No joke but ALDI. 29 quid for a full set and they are great. Much better than my previous. Fans are a delight again

I have had the ALDI sets. I bought them at £40 I'm sure though. I bought 2 sets, for when the first one burnt out. It hasn't yet though... not the greatest cutters... but for the price, easily worth twice or three times the money.

got mine from screwfix the yellow kit forgot the name but its a good kit only used 4 inch

had a few years and still going strong

True. Got the £29 ones (don't know if they're different- 3 in the set) but they've been fine for the admittedly infrequent use I give them.

Core drilling always a job for the builders, i get them to install tile vents wherever possible,

Best to put them in the window if the room has one, much quicker to core through.

can you trust them to get it in the right place though! i use a marcrist DDM 2 and CCU850X cores, costly but worth it if you have to do it yourself as it takes minutes not half an hour like the DIY ones

Haha!! Yes, our builder friends do tend to make mistakes on the placement front from time to time even when there is a nice circle drawn for them!!
