Well that what I was thinking but just read in the NICEIC snags and solutions inspection and testing book that they are perfectly acceptable as long as the circuit meets the maximum permitted zs of the mcb.
Does anyone know if you can still get the Crabtree C50 MCBs bs 3871 (single phase) that are genuine and not second hand. If not do you know of an mcb that can be retrofitted into the old distribution boards.
