Day Rates Wales?

Evening Guys, I`ve been asked to price an 80% rewire of an existing domestic property which is very large and having all the bells and whistles. Not enough info to price properly so have suggested pricing day rate. I am a company and work to high standards which this client wants. Never done domestic this involved but was thinking along the lines of £200 per day for a 2 man team? Thoughts please Guys

I won't work for as little as that on my own TBH.

£200 per day per person sounds about right, maybe a bit less for Wales but not too sure, Wales is a large principality.

Is this one electrician one helper or two electricians?

For each qualified id say 180-200 per person. Lil less for apprentice

The sheep are not for the enjoyment of the casual visitor so forget that to begin with

If you price using day rate figures,you may need to lower your rates to have any chance whatsoever to make you competitive, depending as well on which part of the country the work is located

If it is in or near a large town or city you have no chance of those rates (if you are pricing against local people)
If its for people who have little or no contact with the local populace (which is most likely if its big and posh)then you will be better placed to get English type rates

If you live in England,you would need to be very short of work to consider coming here and competeing against labour that most in England would consider to be pittance rates
