I meant the rest of the installation was satisfactory - It was not a pile of mince. Usually by the end of a 100% EICR you get a pretty good idea of the quality of the install.

Garry,I think my approach would mirror tels post

The installation is of a good standard,the bonding cables exist at the consumer unit,the continuity test would ensure they were connected to the service they were intended for
Given the positives that you have stated I think it is a bit of over zealous to expect the installation to be considered potentially dangerous by coding it 2 but its your opinion that matters
