Moved in february last year and started re wire bout 2 months later. Due to work other commitments time and money all that is left now is a new cooker circuit and kitchen socket circuit which will be done when my old kitchen is ripped out.

Started with a hideous proteus board, put up a nice new mk with it and last week spent the day pulling all the cables back into the next room, this was a pain in the --- pulled one at a time back through the joists and also through an old brick wall as the part it was in was an addition to the old part, so this was time consuming being on my own.

Overall though....im quite happy with it. Looks a lot better than it used to. Still gotta rip out the rest of the cupboard and then gonna box it all in with a door to it.

Out of curiosity why the tray and plastic ties for the tails?

Surely plastic clips, designed for tails, would have done the same job.

Looks good though.

MK.... Cough.......Hager.....Cough

Tray was kicking about at work and i thought why not lol

Meh! rcbo's don't clear the fault. :p

That MK board must be a fake as it's MCB's aren't tilted anywhere near as much as is normal for an MK board

Im just that good :D

Not a rcbo board then?

Shame the outside visual appearance has been blighted by that label!

I wouldn't feel too bad they were ones the company had charged clients for and never put in. When the company was moving the box full of rcbos was just going to be chucked out

Sorry just not a fan of any type of theft at all.

If self employed it's the other way around.

I've bought the bits to do my own CU, shed and bathroom about 20 times over. :)

Looks a good job mate, only had 1 experience with an mk board though and it was bad so that sways me lol

Is that a...DUSTSHEET?????
