Hi guys just wondering if anyone would be able to price check this four bed rewire i'm currently quoting at the moment. It's out in the sticks about an hour from where I live. I've come in at about £4800 but it seems like a lot of work.

All walls are rendered breeze block and the downstairs floors are concrete. All fittings would be click mode & white pendants unless customer buys there own.

Is the house unoccupied and empty?

Sorry forgot to mention that it was unoccupied

I think you are shy too , especially if the up floors are not floorboards.
As above , it is unoccupied , but is it empty?

Always difficult without seeing the actual site, but i recon you are a grand light on that quote.

PS Yorkshire. Is there electricity there now, blimey??:D

Upstairs has floorboards which makes life easier but didn't get chance to see the loft as it was a dark night when I went over. I'd two coat chases I think. The house is empty and carpets are up etc. There's a few walls which are coming out and one or two extra being added downstairs.

It's in Derbyshire so might be taking some overnight stuff and a stove incas I get snowed in haha

I'd come in a little higher than that. without seeing the job I'd be looking at around £5300 as a rough estimate.

I've just had a quick browse through and come in at around £5600 that doesn't include patching up. As a rough guide that's about 21 one man days work IMO and that's with no patching up.

Yh minimum no. Of Sockets in bedrooms might not be met lol, nearly 100 points

This jobs just grown and grown with the customer wanting chrome fronts throughout the property and a sh*t load of other extras. Great job though, I've really enjoyed it up to now. I must admit, it's quite tough when your on your own. The runs have been a bit tricky as there's a lot of steel beams to work around but I'm just about on top of it now. 15 Days in with a good temporary second fix. I reckon there's another 5 or 6 days with all the niggles etc

Music on and enjoy lad , get in the zone ....
