G83 - New install in same street

Hi Guys,

We installed a 3.68kw Solar PV on a property in October 2012, sent off the DNO application G83 Commissioning form and all went through fine with the DNO.

Yesterday had a call from their next door neighbour which is on the same street and they want to go ahead and proceed with a 3.68kw system, now do I have to submit a single G83 commissioning form or do I have to do a prenotification G83/stage 2, Im sure i read something about a 28 day ruling but cant find anything on the DNO site.

Any advice id be really grateful, cheers in advance

My understanding is that you do not have to pre notify because of the 28day rule. There used to be a sticky on here with a link to the document on the thread buts its been moved. don't have the documents to hand to send the link. call the DNO to point you in the direction of document.
