Battery How to connect a comms cable between a giv energy battery and a Growatt inverter.

Good Evening,

Can anyone shed some light on how to connect the comms cable between a giv energy battery and a Growatt inverter.I can’t seem to find it anywhere in the manuals.

Select suitable cable.

Cut to required length.

Prepare ends.

Crimp connectors (probably RJ45).

Connect cable at both ends.

sounds like you haven’t installed a giv energy battery with a Growatt inverter either.

I assumed like you there would be an rj45 socket on the giv energy battery.

Appears to be RS485 twin cable from battery pcb to BMS connection on Growatt inverter. NB I have zero experience of these
