Good afternoon all, I was a victim of theft on Friday night. My van was destroyed and I lost some gear.

It was a peel and steal scenario where they’d forced entry through the top of my side door.

I have an alarm fitted but want to install an additional one with a high dB siren.

My question is, is there a certain switch or relay box that when triggered actives a siren? A simple micro switch is just an on off switch which is no good as I want the siren to go off indefinitely once triggered.

I have all the gear I need to wire this up it’s just the switch I need to work out? It has to be 12v dc.

Double pole change over relay, one pole for siren, other used to by pass trigger switch keeping relay on, would need a separate switch to disable the relay feed, probably a keyswitch but keep it simple as possible.

Sorry to hear about your van, if you need any help wiring something up give me a pm,
