Just installed a new 9.5kw shower, and sat the mcb on the bus barr, and there doesn't seem to be enough power to turn on the shower,

Don't know why we bother with MCBs , just wire eveything directly into the meter

Turn shower on get the light nothing else, and the rccd trips, but there's still power to the shower, only to light it up, nothing else
