Is it wishful thinking or did I see somewhere that you don't need to cross rail Panasonic when installed in landscape anymore? We've got a pain of a roof to do this week and I've been caught out with an increase in Panasonic price and now I've started to look again at the cross rail I've left ourselves a bit short there too - am I grasping at straws - of course!!

We can't get verticals to work with the fixing points for the panels so that's not an option either.

Any thoughts?

I don't think you're allowed to clamp on the short side for these. I hadn't noticed an increase in Panasonic prices recently. How much are you looking at?

We've gone from £190 to £197 not the end of the world but there isn't a massive amount in the job because I guessed (incorrectly - doh!) the cost of the cross railing, it must be 2 years since we did it last. Never mind .... at least it'll put bread on the table :-)

Well the good news is that the days of the beans ended in about April, followed by days of madness since June. For the first time in 2 years we're going into the New Year without worrying about whether we'll make it to the end.

Just got to get MCS visit out of the way 23rd December - can you believe it!
