The 8 way controller stopped working so I removed it, I thought I would just have static lights, the transformer is at the plug, supplies 3v. The control box had 2 wires in from the transformer and 2 wires out for the lights. I joined the wires with a connector block hoping that would do the trick but only every other light came on. I reversed the polarity and the other ones came on. Is there any way to get all the lights on ?
I know they`re cheap enough to buy but....................................

I don't think you will be able to make them all work at once. It sounds like half of the LEDs are connected with reverse polarity to allow the box to chase between them using only 2 wires. LEDs will only work with the correct polarity so I think you are out of luck

Thanks, must have something in the box that does it, hate ditching something if it can be made to work...............

Thanks for the reply, on closer inspection the incoming volts from the transformer is 31v, guess I need better glasses !!!
