Mains enclosure on hand rail

Hi all. Please can you advise me if there are any regulations about bolting a mains powered enclosure onto hand railings? The supply to the enclosure is single phase 10A

Couldnt see an issue with that mate....there are many lighting systems incorporated into handrails and they are normal mains fittings...not DI or anything special!!!

Hi Steve. The enclosure is 1200x1200x280mm. The power cable will be in a 150x150 trunking going into the base of the enclosure. The handrails will only be used to mount the enclosure on.

Cant see an issue with that mate as long as the enclosure is fixed securely and you bond everything up correctly ( steel enclosure? )

Thanks mate. Yes it is a steel enclosures and it is bonded up correctly.
