Anyone knows just by looking at the back of the multimeter whether this multimeter is supposed to make sound when checking for continuity. I have replaced the fuse on the left of the image and also has a 9V battery. It works OK but never made a sound when checking for continuity.

Difficult to say. Most decent ones do, but some don't. They often have a 'sound' icon, ie like a wifi symbol to show it does audible continuity. I suspect if yours has never done this then it probably doesn't have this feature.

Try searching the web for a manual.

most meters have a buzzer that sounds for a resistance of up to around 30 ohms, in which case it would only bleep on the 200 ohm range, with a resistance of < 30 ohms connected.

Sometimes the audible beep is on the diode check setting though.

I’ve got a multimeter that’s supposed to make a sound… not same make as this one though.
It used to work, then stopped… it’s just a loose connection behind the dial. If I squeeze the thing, I can make it beep.

Sounds like a quality item 😀😀
