any mention of part p in the first bit? I think not. No mention of being compitent, so basically my 96 year old nan with dimentia...as long as she can read and understand it can carry out these steps legally? Well that sets my mind at ease why did i bother doing my 2360/2330 at all? and  at the same time

And iv only read as far as the first bit.

The follwoing quote from the article- Tip: One way of saving money is to ask an electrician to install the cabling, ready for you to fit the sockets. For more information, contact the Electrical Contractors Association.
Dont think that is how it's meant to work is it?
Who do you get in to test it?

As per the last step you test it by putting a lamp in it!!! Also no mention of earthing the metal socket face that they have a picture of? No mention of informing lba! Don't worry lads, when they plug in the lamp to test it and it doesn't work they will call a sparky in, that is they haven't fried themselves or set fire to the house. Why don't the HSE get involved with things like this?

A little knowledge is a dangerous thing......

They've added my nice comment on how responsible and accurate their advice is!
