Hello can someone please help me. Im revision for 2330 303 written exam in a couple of days and I just want to check that a Periodic Inspection Report in the regs is now known as a Electrical Condition Report on page 396 BS7671:2008?

EICR Electrical installation condition report.
 
what he said ^^^ PIR was changed to EICR a couple of years ago.

The document that you fill in is called EICR Electrical Installation Condition Report. In other words you are inspecting the installation and doing a report on its overall condition. However the overall exercise is called Periodic Report, as daft as it seems.

Not daft at all, because it is in fact called a periodic inspection (which is what you are doing) and not a periodic report.

The equivalent documentation issued following the periodic inspection, which was previously referred to as a Periodic Inspection Report for an Electrical Installation is now referred to as an Electrical Installation Condition Report.
 
which being the result of some suits at the IET saying " we've fixed everything that's broke, now let's have a go at something that's perfectly OK and have a go at fixing that".
