Protective case for iPhone 4

Can anyone suggest a protective case for the iPhone 4 which actually works and stops the penetration of dust / drops etc?

Try Otterbox, i've just ordered one for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Bit expensive (£20 inc from Amazon) but 2 year contracts for the phone it's gotta be worth it.

Hi I am using the lifeproof case for my iPhone 4 got it from amazon (bit pricey £50) but can highly recommend. claims to be waterproof (you test the case before you put the iPhone in it) has been in my pocket full of dust and debris damage free for months.

got some crazy seal of approval from the US army. Look it up. ive got one and the phone (iphone 4) rattles around in my god forsakencsprky pockets full of concrete block bits screws & what have you and if you take the (clever) case off theres a ..... Brand new looking iPhone inside

My brother uses a griffin case for his iPhone as well. He is a tree surgeon so it takes some welly. Keeps all the bumps and sawdust at bay.

I'm with dan, I have the lifeproof case its expensive but worth it in my opinion, not as bulky as the otterbox defender either although I had an otterbox on my iPhone 3GS a couple of years ago and that never let me down either

The one thing I would say against the griffin case is its adds a bit of bulk to the phone, but that bulk has saved my phone a few times now.

well I dropped my 4s from head height in Tesco car park yesterday with NO case and it survived!

I used the Griffin for a while, but it was just a bit too rubbery and stuck in my pocket. Best for size, protection, usability is Otterbox Defender for iPhone4. Keeps the dust out and you can touch right up to the edge of the screen.

I too have the otterbox, dropped phone from head height and no problems, need it as used to have a blackberry and they have very tough screens!

Bought an otter box defender today and I'm chuffed with it! Seems sturdy and will keep the iPhone safe around the quarries

I ended up buying a Griffin Survivor armoured case from Amazon (£15) and I'm well impressed. So far dropped and stuck in the 45 minute hailstone downpour in Cardiff whilst only wearing a t-shirt and it's still working fine. Well worth the cheap price.
