I have an issue with some wall lights I am fitting - lights are to be fitted on stud walls (wood frames with plasterboard, no insulation) there are no ceiling lights, therefore no roses and the wall lights are the sort with just a small connector block and no room behind them. I need to run a loop in loop out circuit and therefore need to make my connections to loop and for switching behind the lights. I could use a JB behind the lamp but I'd need to make a pretty big hole in the wall ! Can anyone see any problem with using push fit connectors? They would be in the wall cavity accessible through a smaller hole in the wall directly behind the lamp?

too late - already run the cables and the room has been plastered etc. - is there any reason why I shouldn't connect behind the lamps - the connections will be accessible?
