Changing a storage heater. I < 13amps

Consumer unit - rewireable fuses

If ur changing the heater do u need to rcd protect the cable or am i right in saying i would get away with hanging fcu to an rcd fcu??

If you are changing just the heater then I would say its maintenance and thus no changes to the circuit protection are required.

I would however check the Zs and note it on my invoice. If its E7 powered, I would check the R1 + R2 and put that on the invoice

Thanks alot i will ad test results to reciept. Just enquiring as i dont do much maintanence work like this
