What tripping time should I expect to be acceptable when doing a ramp test on both 30ma and 100ma rcds. I mean is 70ma tripping time on a 100ma rcd too sensitive?

do you mean 70mA trip threshold? mA is not time!

70mA trip on a 100mA RCD is roughly same as 23mA on a 30. a bit low, but acceptable IMO.

No as it has passed as long as it does not trip out on half test !

Have a look at post 2 !

If you mean 70 ms well thats fine as well the quicker the better.

200 ms for BS RCD and 300 ms for ENBS RCD.

Hope that helps !
