Completing my EIC's for assessment tomorrow with the NICEIC ... I'm used to using Elecsa certs and haven't come across 'Reference Method' before.

Changed CU, tested all circuits. Most of the cables are run either through the plasterboard walls (not in conduit, no thermal insulation), or buried in the walls (no conduit no protection).

I've been through all the reference methods in the Regs - but can't work out which method these fall under. Can anyone help?!

And when it says 'points served' - am i including the FCU as a point? I have lots of FCU that spur off to sockets for washing machine/fridge/dishwasher etc.

Cheers, Kel x

agreed . p264, BRB, ref. nos. 57 & 58. method C.

You wouldn't include both the FCU and their respective socket-outlets as points served, they would count together as one point.
However you would include FCUs for alarms, boilers, extractor fans and such.
