Hi, I've read different threads and posts trying to get the info I want but I can't seem to find it so...

Last September I started college and recently completed my 'Level 2 Diploma in Electrical Installation (QCF)' - with awarding body EAL. I'm 27 and I've been lucky enough to get a job as a mate/trainee with an employer who I've now been with for 6 months. I know I need to get my Level 3, and I know I then need to do the site diary side of things to complete the NVQ. But I want to be clear on what my options are from here and how they all work.

My local college is running Level 3 Diploma in Electrical installation with EAL 600/9331/6. Which is 2 days a week for a year at £3345, other distant colleges are running night classes for the same price.

One other nearby college is running a Diploma - Level 3 2365 (which I'm guessing is C&G) 2 nights a week for a year at £3222.

What happens after I do these courses? Are there other routes instead of these courses?

Any answers or ino is much appreciated, thanks.

Dan.
